Trouble sleeping

I feel like I can't get enough sleep! It's almost 2am here, and I am wide awake. I've been upstairs knitting, because usually I find that relaxing, but I just can't make myself sleepy!

In the mornings, I feel like I didn't sleep a wink, and then I feel like I need to take a nap in the afternoon, which I'm sure isn't helping me get to bed at a reasonable hour at night, either.

It's really beginning to frustrate me.

I had nights like this all through the first trimester...where I'd wake up for no reason and not be able to fall back asleep for a couple of hours. It's totally frustrating! For me, it has pretty much gone away now...except I still wake up fairly early a few times a week (like 5:30 or so). I hope it ends soon for you, too!

I'm a night owl by nature. I would stay up until between 3-5am every day and then sleep in until 10-noon. And now my husband is working 8p-8a four nights a week, which doesn't help at all. I had to force myself to stay awake during the day and not take that tempting nap. That's the only way I can get myself to sleep at a decent hour at night.

Oh me! DD goes to bed at 10 and hubby is close behind.. then I stay up until 1,2 and yesterday 3! surprisingly tho when DD woke me up at 10 I was ready to get up and not too tired... usually i lay in bed and she eats breakfast and plays

Count me in. A lot of times I need something to eat. So, I'm up at 2-3am making fried eggs and toast.

It has also become uncomfortable to be laying down. Prepregnancy if I woke up and couldn't sleep I would just lay in bed and be comfortable. But now if I'm not sleeping, I have to get out of bed or else I'm so uncomfortable just laying there.

I actually went to sleep around 11pm last night, which is pretty gosh darn early for me. But then our youngest came in at 4:00am and kept kissing me and talking to me, and I couldn't get back to sleep!!!

I was trying so hard to be good last night, and I still am dead tired this morning. I want dh to get up so I can go back to bed!!!

Wahhhhh!

I am really tired in the evening and tend to fall asleep on the couch around 9:00 while watching TV. I go to bed around 10:30 and fall right back to sleep. My dilemma is when I wake up around 3-4am to pee and come back to bed. I can't easily fall back to sleep. I toss and turn and finally get into a good deep sleep again not long before my alarm goes off at 6am.
