So, wow -- I really thought the last few weeks of this pregnancy that this baby was a boy -- loads of boy dreams, but low and behold I HAVE A GIRL

OK, it all started Friday with erratic contractions throughout the day. I didn't think much of it, since there would be large spans of time between them at some points.
Dp and I decided to rest as much as we could after we put ds down, so I tried to rest between ctx and by about midnight they were coming a lot more frequently and intensly.
So, but 12:30 we called the mw and she showed up by 12:50. I was in the shower and she checked me at 1am and said to keep doing what I was doing and that I was 4cm and things were looking good.
[just as an aside...my ds was born in the hospital after 8 hours of posterior labour..no epi]
So, here I am on our bed jutting forward onto all four during each ctx and dp is pushing his fists into my back to counter the pressure. Then, when the ctx would end, I would just kneel on the bed -- I was shocked at how great it was to be lucid between ctx...very nice change
By 2am our secondary mw showed up, she checked me and said I was 9 and a half cm and if I wanted to I could start pushing anytime...
Seriously was not expecting things to go that quickly.
My water broke at 2:15 and by 2:30 I decided to sit on the toilet (seemed like a good idea at the time...)
However, when Suzanne (mw) came in the bathroom to talk to me about gravity and how helpful it is...I scream I'M PUSHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Then, after that ctx I knelt down on all four on our bathroom floor and two pushes later she was out and in my arms.

It was amazing. I felt like I was hit by a truck, and the after pains were wildly intense...but wow, I have a daughter.
