A single skein of Galenas Merino

Its in girly pastel colors. What would make with it? dd is 5.5 and I could make her a cute little ear flap hat for next year.
I also have a niece that is 4 and one that is 3 months old that lives in Alaska.

I was thinking of a cute little hat with ties for the 3 month old for next year, perhaps lined in fleece to keep her little head warm in the freezing cold.

What patterns do you especially like for a little girl?

I'm not any help with pattern suggestions, just wanted to say that I'm using galenas merino in the colorway "Kelly" (from Three Irish Girls) to make a *Harriet Kerchief* for my Gram.
She wears those head scarf things all the time instead of hats...she's 80 years old.

The yarn is so very soft and squishy!!

I'm sure whatever you chose to knit with the yarn will turn out beautifully!
