DD is in this biting phase. It started at the sitter's when she would bite the other kids to sit on a fold out child sized couch. So I got her her own couch for the sitter's house. But now everything is a reason to bite.
I try to tell her "Don't bite mommy to nurse, just say nurse"..or something similar...I hate having to say "Don't" without providing an alternate behaviour, but honestly most of the time, am too annoyed and in pain to think of anything approriate to say. This morning she bit DH cuz he was putting her coat on and she didnt' want to put it on. I know she's frustrated from lack of words, from lack of attention (things have been really crazy), and from lack of control (ie. having to put on her jacket when she isn't ready too but is forced too cuz we have to leave) How can I deal with this in a GD way? TIA
