Help! 3 year old biting in anger.

I am at my wits' end with dd.: Whenever she is mad at ds (4years old) she has been biting him REALLY hard. She leaves freaking teeth marks and has even broken the skin. The thing is, she has never been a biter, she just started this a few weeks ago. It would be one thing if she were under 2 and not really verbal, but she is talking a blue streak and is almost 3 1/2. She CAN use her words.

Nothing is getting through to her. And I am finding myself getting less and less gd about handling it. A few minutes ago I really yelled at her and shamed her because I was soooooooo FURIOUS at her. i realize that doesn't work and is really mean.

I have had it , and so has poor ds. I could really use some advice.

I have no advice, we're right there with you though. Can't wait to see what ideas other moms have. Dd is almost 4 and started hitting me about a week and a half ago. It's becoming maddening.

Has anything at all changed in the family recently? Have either of them started new activities or something? Is she going through some developmental changes that you can notice?

Have you tried talking to her out of the moment/later on to try and see if something is bugging her? Can she come up with some suggestions on how she could handle it differently?
