I love my partner, he is soooo supportive of this natural homebirth thing. He just takes off running with each little detail to anyone who might listen. Last night, as I'm getting ready to head off to bed, I hear him talking on the phone -- then it dawns on me that he's talking about electronic fetal monitoring in hospitals.
I head upstairs and ask who he's talking to, assuming it's probably his momma again since he seems to consistently get in these conversations with her, but no -- it's one of his old metalworking buddies. That just cracks me up that he's up there rattling on about birth to this fellar.
