Messy house, happy kid!

Dd is in the kitchen, mixing up leftover flour from the banana bread, sprinkles I found in the back of the cupboard, and some random bits of dried up sugar and baking powder while singing and talking to her invisible friend.

My kitchen is a mess . . . but for the first time this afternoon, everyone is quiet. And hey, doesn't this count for fine motor skills or sensory activities of something?

Thanks! It was a rough afternoon, and I was glad to finally have a little quiet and at least one happy child.

And yes, I did get a picture -- bright yellow apron and all!
