It must be one of those days: wheelchair question

I've spent so long at the doctor's office in the last month that the office manager knows my name, and probably my social. And today was no different. Except, for something different. And who knows what!???!!!

I'm so sore and tired.

Tell me what kind of wheelchair looks like a stroller and can hold a big kid? I saw one today, and it looks like I'm going to have to buy one. I want to know before I go.

are you wanting one that the kiddoe could learn to move on their own, or just a stroller big enough for a bigger kid?

the maclaren major is a really nice big stroller that works for SN's kids. What kind of support does he need?

stroller for big kids

I know of a lot of parents on another forum love their Convaids. Depends on the size/motor issues/etc. of the individual child, which brand/type is best, though. Your neurologist or other specialist should be able to point you to someone who can show you the various options and recommend what might be best for your child.

Also, depending on how much $ insurance covers (they aren't cheap!), look online for nice used ones--kids outgrow them, so they're out there. Last year I helped a local mom unable to sell hers hook up with a mom in Canada who needed one cheaper than new
