I'm curious to see if it's pretty much 50% or what.
Everyone I personally know who is pg and far enough along to know is having a girl.

So I'm wondering if it's a widespread trend. Or coincidence.
Sorry, I'm dorky like that- so I wanna know! lol

In the DDC info sticky at the top of the page there are colored storks indicating gender. I've tried to keep up with everyone's announcements, but if I missed anyone please let me know!

My midwife (HB) has an u/s machine in her office - we haven't seen any boy parts yet, but it's a small screen and the printer isn't the best. So, we're leaning towards a girl but I haven't had the big ultra sound yet, so i'd say were at about a 65/35 split that we've got a girl too.

Two of my employees had girls this year, I know one other preg mama irl and shes also having a girl (should have been two, lost one this week )

It's funny you say that...I'm part of a mom's group and there are a bundle of us pregnant. There are 12 that know the sex of their babies and 11 of them are girls.

I belong to a BB on another site too and there are quite a few girls over there. It's interesting, especially when you think that statistically there will be more boys born than girls this year (106 boys for every 100 girls in the US).

Ours will be a surprise.

I'd LIKE to find out... but the u/s is $100 and things are so tight right now, I don't know that we'll be able to. If I can somehow scrape up the money, I'll find out, for the sake of that big ol' baby shower the ladies at work are already chatting about. If not, it'll be a surprise, which is fine with me, too!

I still think it's a boy, but everyone on MDC has had girl-vibes for me. I've had only one friend who thinks it's a boy, too. (he's one of those people who either can pick up on stuff like this or is exceedingly lucky - he's never been wrong on any of his guesses!)

It's a girl! It's a girl! It's a girl! {does happy dance}

That was my gut feel from the beginning, but I wasn't confident enough to shop on it. Now with the ultrasound confirming it, we can go clothes shopping for Jessica!

It's a boy!

Hi there!
I'm 17 weeks and we found out recently we're having a boy! This will of course have to be confirmed at the 20 week u/s. But we saw the little parts and everything.
Here's to healthy babies!

Yesterday was our u/s! So much for my mother's intuition!!!

It's a GIRL! No doubt about it!

I was certainly a little surprised, but left myself open to the fact that it certainly could be another little girl. This pregnancy has been so far off from the first 2. They were each different in their own way, but there was certainly some overlap. This one has been way different, so I really thought maybe different gender. Just goes to show ya what I know!

DH seemed to have prepared for it as well and it wasn't hard for him this time like finding out our 2nd was another girl. Certainly helped my guilt that he didn't get his son. Not having a good father myself, I feel really good knowing that he is and will continue to be an amazing father to my 3 girls. He has never been afraid to dive right in with all the "girly stuff" and they already have such an amazing bond with him. I look forward to seeing that continue to grow!

Boy!!!!

From what the tech could tell @ a 14 weeks u/s, it's a boy! (our 1st is a girl & we're thrilled!)

I'm having my 18 week u/s in a couple of days & we'll hope that have the gender confirmed

We didn't find out w/ #1 & that was a great experience for us! Hats off to those of you who want to be surpised

We had our ultrasound this morning (pictures here) and it's definitely a boy!! If anyone is curious as to what a definitive boy ultrasound shot looks like - I've got some pretty great ones. There's no mistaking that!

I didn't post them on the interwebs though.

I'm 19 weeks and I'm having a boy, and a ?. We feel like the other baby is a girl, but baby's legs were crossed and we couldn't tell definitively. At first they were pretty positive we were having a girl and then couldn't tell what the other baby was. Then they thought definitely a boy, and possibly another boy. Now they DEFINITELY say a boy, and the other (doesn't really look like our baby boy's parts, but there is something there) they're thinking a girl... they said the parts look a little swollen (as baby parts can be) and that adding that on top of the cord being between the legs like a diaper, they're not sure. We've got boy/girl feelings though.

I went for my 20-week ultrasound but the little sprog was shy. Wouldn't flash its bits for us. No more u/s in the works.... so I guess it's gonna be a surprise!

I'm gradually getting over the disappointment. :/
