Store 12hrs worth of EBM in single container?

I am hoping to get a job offer where I will be working 12 hour shifts.* I think it would be easier to dump all of my pumped milk into a single large container each day.* Then the babysitter can just fill bottles as needed rather than either of us messing with all of those zipper bags.* Anyone think that would work?*

I can't see any problems with it as long as you keep it refrigerated, but maybe someone else will have some concerns that I haven't thought of. Are you going to pump one day for the next day's bottles?

The baby sitter needs to be aware to make bottles smaller rather than larger, so none of your precious milk goes to waste if baby doesn't drink it.

Good luck with your job search!!

I know a lot of moms at my work do this - just remember that you have to base how long you can store it from the earliest pumping session.
