So cute!! I love it. I'm going to have to make some gnomes so that I can later make them a house!

Adorable!

That's so cute! I'm actually working on a knitted gnome home for a 1yo's bday present. I'm going to make the roof separate, and the door won't be open, so he'll be able to take them/dump them out and put them in easily. Maybe in a couple of years, when he gets more into pretend play, I'll make this one and upgrade their accomodations.

Does anyone still have the gnome knitting pattern from Tonya? I had a ratty old printed copy that finally bit the dust, but the link I have is no longer working. Anyoen have a good link?

It was someone else posting an archived link to this pattern that introduced me to the Internet Wayback Machine.

Thank you for that link. I have a lot of homeless gnomes wandering about the apartment, begging for change.

There's also Bev's pattern:

It's basically the same thing just top down.

Um, it's OK, I guess...

knit gnome home?

Can anyone translate that crochet gnome home into knitting? please please please?

Maybe. Because crochet is so, erm, flexible and unforgiving, crochet would work better. I think felted knitting would be the way to go...
