blinds

So we had blinds installed in every window of our home when we moved in August. They are the faux (plastic) wood wide panel blinds. We live in the southwest so it is very dusty esp where we live we are surrounded by fields and dirt.
What is the best way to clean them without smearing the dust into dirt and then them looking dingy?

At my other house I tried to wipe them with a damp towel but they never really came clean...actually looked worse .

the key is to keep up with it. that will keep it as dust and not grime. i like the swiffer dusters for that. try to do it at least once a week if your house is dusty.
