I was just curious, for those who have suffered from it- How long did it take before you got over it and got well? My son is 6 months old and my OCD/anxiety/intrusive thoughts are still in full force.

Thanks in advance,
Cyn~

i started Celexa for severe PPD/OCD/intrusive thoughts at 6 weeks pp, i felt a difference very quickly and within a month or two i found that the intrusive thoughts were greatly diminished. i still have them from time to time but they are no where near what they were after my dd was born.

Too bad SSRIs do not work for me.. I am taking Xanax for my anxiety and WAS taking Wellbutrin SR, but it started to make me angry and hostile .. so I stopped taking it. now I feel screwed. i could take the Effexor that was prescribed to me, but it is expensive AND it's bad for you in the long run (or so I've heard/seen online petitions against it)... *sigh*
