Ok I'll try to make this short.
I have been TTC for over a year now, I had a blighted ovum in May 07. We are on our 8th cycle ttc again.
On my own with NO fertility meds I O on CD 17.
I have done 4 cycles of clomid and this cycle will be switching to Femera, I usually do 50mg days 3-7, will an ultrasound on cd 12 and if eggs are mature enough a trigger that same day.
This cycle we have decided to do IUI. My problem is yesterday I started spotting (more like tinted CM, I dont even wear a panty liner), I called my dr and she said to count that as cd1 although I have never done that before I thought you were supposed to wait for the next day of real AF to start counting.
Here is my delima If I count yesterday as cd1 that puts cd 12 on Sat the 23. They dont do u/s on the weekend so they would push it back and do it on cd 11. I think that is really early bc by the way I have been counting the last few months that is actually cd10 or me. In Jan due to New years we did my u/s on cd13 (but keep in mind if I count the way my dr's nurse told me to count that would have been cd14) and everything looked good and they triggered me that day.
If I count the way I have ALWAYS counted they could do my u/s on CD 13 (mon the 25th) then my IUI on (Tue the 26th) If I count the way they want me to count I would not be able to do my IUI this month bc it falls on a weekend and it is WAY more expensive to do it on the weekend, and I'm not willing to pay the extra money. So what would you guys do, continue to count the way I always have or follow my dr's advice. Then there is always the delima of when to take my Femara. Basically when should I count CD one, yesterdays spotting or todays full force AF?
When I did my u/s on cd 13 in Jan my follicles were 22mm and 17mm and 16mm. Just so you have a point of reference of how big they would be on that cycle day.
