I had a dream about Frankly Speaking!

How strange. Last night, I had a dream that I was on a friend's front porch and it was dark outside. Her neighbor walked over and it was "Frankly Speaking" from the circumcision forum! He walked over and was an older man with a tye-dye or flowered shirt on with tan pants and sandals. He also had facial hair and kinda long hair in a braid or pony tail or something. He ran back to his house to get me some circ. info. or something and that was the end of my dream.
That's the first time I've ever dreamt about an online person before! How weird!

:LOL You mean he was dressed like a hippie?

If I'm not mistaken, I've actually MET him, have I not? Or am I thinking of someone else? It was when we were getting our pictures taken with the signs in Wash D.C. back in April 2002. If this rings a bell, let me know. Otherwise, forget it. It was someone else. :

Oh! Candiland!!!!!

I never dreamed I would be your "dream guy!" I am literally rolling in the floor laughing my butt off. You are too, too, too funny.

No one has ever seen the real Frankly Speaking and you've got it all wrong. I do on very rare occasion wear a flowered shirt but my "style" is usually a polo, khakis and moccasin toed slippers. I am 6' tall and medium build with dark complexion and straight dark hair that no matter how I comb it, it's neat. I have no facial hair. My style is from the years in the corporate world and I have been long accused of being a yuppie from that appearance. I am NOT older but gently in middle age. My ex MIL always thought I looked like Clark Gable but I think I'm much more handsome.

Now, if you can just tell me how to get some womym in my area to dream about me.

And, yes Laila, That was for you!

Wow, was I totally off-base or what?
Gee, at least I got the part about you running off to get circ. info. right! Now where in the world would I have come up with the idea that you would hand out circumcision information?

The more I thought about it, the more it sounded like you thought I looked like Panama Jack.

I wouldn't have to run off for circ info. I carry it around in my hip pocket, don't you know!

Maybe "In Your Dreams" would be a good "DDDC" tag line for me.

I've had more fun with this than anything in a long time. Thanks for the laughs.

I think Frank is a "hippie" - on the inside . . .

Frank, i kinda thought of you as a hippie, too...but more of the t-shirt/jeans kind, not the tye-dye kind. LOL

although before reading more about you, i had often questioned whether or not you may actually have been a corporate lawyer or something in your previous career. you're too smart and too willing to learn to have just been in sales or something, LOL! So was I right on that one?? Or maybe you were a stockbroker?

You just have to write an auto-bio for us and post a pic on the internet so we can see you. (maybe then we can call some atlanta area ladies and tell them where you are!)

i've missed you, too BTW!

Ooooops. I think we've shyed him off.

What I look like and what I am are two totally different things. On the outside, I'm straight laced. On the inside, I'm spaghetti. I'm like a guy that worked for me once. He was a laborer in my plant and was into motorcycles, drugs and rock and roll. When Bob would come dressed for a company party, I would ask people what they thought he did for a living. They always guessed lawyer, accountant, stockbroker or something like that. I'm like that.

While I said I was a salesman, that is the way I started my career but I owned businesses selling architectural products, electronics, advertising and food products. I have also dabbled in real estate a little so I wasn't out there on the front line pounding the pavement for most of my career even though that is what I enjoyed the most.

I made some right decisions and was fortunate to be able to retire 17 years early. I have been married but am now divorced for 23 years. I had no children. I love old sports cars but I'm not the tweed jacket and button down cap type I also like building furniture but lately I've been remodeling a very large house on 6 acres in the country and when I finish, I'm going to remodel my city home. Sports cars and woodworking are out for a while and the boat hasn't been started in several years and may be several more before it is.

A digital photo of me does not exist at this time. Maybe I can force myself throught the FAX machine for you.

Frank!

I think you ARE my dream man! But, since I'm married to the man of my dreams, I guess you'll just remain a fantasy.

You ladies are determined to make me blush, aren't you?

(I think that's the most emoticons I've ever used in a single post.)

I gotta ask: "Who is Panama Jack"??
Panama Jack is a sun tan product. There was a picture on the label of a distinguished looking beach comber type gent with a straw hat, moustache, goatee and van dyck, longish wavy hair and a flowered shirt. The imagined description of me sounded exactly like Panama Jack.

Oh, Wow.

Scroll down for a pic of my exact likeness.

At least they had the good sense to digitally enhance my features.
