Asher Louis was born by emerancy cesarean Tuesday the 13th at 11:38 am.

I ruptured my uterus after almost 48 hours of labor.
will post more later, with pics.
We are still in the hospital.

Nina

So here we are still at the hospital and will be until at least tomorow.
Asher has already lost 9 % of his birth weight and if he loses anymore I will be forced to supplement.
I have a couple of choices and they won't make me use a bottle... we can use a cup or syringe or something else.
My milk hasn't come in and I hope it will soon. He is kinda lazy about nursing. He would rather just slurp the nipple into his mouth instead of opening wide and getting everything that needs to get in there.

He weighed 8 lbs 6 oz at birth which is my biggest baby by 2 lbs!
He is 21 inches long (none of the others were over 19!)
And his head was 15 inches around!
My mosaic triangles had that I knit just barely fits.

I am doing just okay. I never ever imagined that I would need a section and I was really really really scared.
Noone knows why my uterus ruptured, but they fixed it and so I still have it.
Though they don't think I should have any more babies. Good thing I had already decided that this was my last.
I am so sore right now and starting to feel afterpains...UGH!

Going to lie down again now.

I'm relieved to hear you had a happy ending and seem to be doing well. I ruptured an ovary and that was painful enough, I can't imagine having my uterus rupture.

Healing vibes to you mama!:::
