I started Prozac in the second trimester and am still on it (baby is 5 wks old and is breastfeeding for half of daily feeds plus getting supplement). No bad reactions. Infact, since birth this baby has been waaaay more mellow than my first was. I contacted Motherisk at the Hospital For Sick Children in Toronto (I think you can do a search online too) and they said in the longitudinal studies there was no difference in development between children whose mothers had taken Prozac while pregnant and breastfeeding, and those whose mothers did not. I know there's lots of conflicting info out there. But this is what the latest research and experts in my city are saying, and I decided to go for it.

When you find something that works, it's compelling. I know how hard it is to have to make a difficult decision like this when you are feeling so crappy. Good luck!
