The baby is a wiggle monster during contractions? I thought labor was supposed to CALM them down? It is hard to deal with the contractions with her moving so much.

That's never happened to me. In fact, I barely remember mine even moving at all during the entire labor, but my labors are usually quick and very painful so I don't remember much of them anyway.

my oldest didn't move DURING contractions but he moved a LOT between them.

during contractions there was no way for him TO move.

Yes my wee one (4 days old) moved a ton during and in between contractions. For apparently she was trying to find a good position...at the last min (during pushing) she went sunny side up and the OB and I had to spin her back

It was a really strange sensation...not so much painful just strange...she was also really low so it felt like she was grinding her little melon against my cervix

Mine moved a lot during and between contractions. Her head wasn't well positioned and I think she was trying to get in a better position. I don't know if it helped but it sure was uncomfortable.

Mine moved a lot. DH said it looked like he was swimming down. For me it didn't really make the ctx more painful.
