I have been having contractions all night that have been more painful than the ones I've been having these past few weeks. I was actually laying in bed sleeping and dreaming that I was in labor. I woke up to a mildly painful contraction.

I hate to say this, because I want this baby to come out so badly, but I hope it's not happening right now.

My 2 year old ds has been vomiting all night and is now in my bed with dh. I told dh I'm going to time the contractions for a bit and then decide what to do. Midwife lives 2 hrs away, so this ought to be interesting.

I really hope it's not. I don't want the baby catching whatever virus ds has and I want to be able to take care of him while he's sick.

Maybe I've got the virus and that is why I'm crampy? Ugh.

Well, I've been up since 2, feeling crampy and have started emptying myself out from the bottom end if you know what I mean. The jury's still out on whether I have the stomach bug or labor. My last labor was only 2 hrs start to finish, so since it's 8am now, I'm going to bet that this is not labor.

Man, Kathy, you can't win for losing!! First you want the baby to come so bad, then as soon as the kiddo makes up his/her mind your other LO gets sick. What a bummer!! I hope everything falls into place for you. Can't wait to meet your baby.

That's better anyway. I'd hate to have this kid get sick with a stomach bug just after being born.

Bummer Kathy! I hope you feel better! I had another 30 hour episode of pre-labor that I was sure was getting me somewhere, and today NOTHING. It's so emotionally draining--I'm sorry you have to be sick on top of it!
