Slow sink drain

What can I put down my kitchen sink drain to clean out whatever is obviously in there? it's draining slow again and I'd like to not have it get totally stopped like last time.....

Baking soda, then vinegar and then put the plug on and leave it for 10 minutes or so.

(Thanks to PC Green Brand Baking soda... it's on the package!)

I would do the baking soda and vinegar mixture a couple of times. Then flush it with cold water.
