WWYD - Making dd quit making herself throw up

So, I'm new to GD, and I'm new to any sort of discipline, since dd is just starting to become a toddler. For the most part, I am getting pretty good at distractions, etc. But, dd has a habit of sticking her fingers down her throat to make herself throw up. She seems to think this is fun, especially when she actually vomits. It's extra fun for her if it gets on furniture, she's just had a bath, and/or if she can get me too. Distractions seem to do no good, and I find myself saying, "No" every time I see her doing it. My no's are not yet approaching yelling, but I am getting more frustrated because it doesn't seem to be working. In general, I'm not a big fan of "no" to begin with, but it's what I fall back on when I don't know what else to do. Is there a way to make her stop this?
(btw, I don't think it's an attention-getting thing because she'll do it while we're playing together or while she's playing independently. She just seems to like the feeling, as far as I can tell.)

I am not any sort of expert, but that sounds very unusual to me. Have you looked into any possible medical reason she might do this?

I have a daycare child that does this. I try very hard to have no emotional reaction whatsoever!!! I just mater of factly hand her a damp towel and tell her to clean it up, then walk away. When she's done I finish up for her. She's now down to about once a month after doing it daily in the begining. it's not fun anymore because it gets NO attention. She was about 20 months when she started this....she's just over 2 now and it's almost gone.

I thought it was unusual too, but I posted about it to the Toddlers forum, and other people said their lo's went through this kind of stage. The thing is that she seems to have fun with the sensation - she laughs right afterwards. That said, I am going to talk to her ped about it b/c it seems strange to me. She eats few solids and is almost exclusively breastfed.
