I have the cold the boys had last week. my throat is sore and raw, sneezing, stuffy/runny nose (how DOES it manage to be both at once?!) and a hacking cough. ugh. :

take tons of vitamin C!!! like 1000mg every hour until your sore throat goes away. stay away from sugars. works for me every time!

wish I had some...why couldn't I have felt like this YESTERDAY before I went to the store?! and with orientation and registration tomorrow...

WHenever I get that, I find chopping up and swallowing a clove or two of garlic helps and using the neti pot to clear out the sinuses.

It's so unfair to get sick while you're pregnant

I'm in your boat too. I'm so pissed that I got sick! Dh keeps saying, think positive! I just want to throw a tantrum, I don't want to be sick and go into labor!!!!
I hope we both get better soon.

adn get well soon vibes for you. I've got some cold eze i was taking with epo to try to bring on labor a few weeks ago...I threw the box away though so i have no idea on the dosage. oops!

MOve over mama's, make some room for me. I was fine for a few days and now I'm stuffy again, and it just occurred to me that if my baby was born today, or tomorrow, I won't be able to smell him/her!

some advise

few things. Grapefruit seed extract is great for everything. 5 to 15 drops in juice 3 times a day. you can also gargle with it. i used it to get rid of a nasty case of strep.Osha is great for the cough. You can also try lots of garlic cyane (sp?) and honey "tea" hope you feel better soon..
