We had a girl on Tuesday!

I don't have long, but I wanted to introduce Twyla Dorothy, who was born on Tuesday, the 12th. She was a bit early, and born 5lb. 8oz. My water broke around 1:15pm, and she was born at 4:04pm, so it was really fast! But everyone who was supposed to be was here, and it was awesome!

Then, on Wednesday, we had just gotten the older two to bed when I realized that it was getting colder in my house. Yep, the furnace crapped out on us the day after I gave birth. We ended up having to go stay at my grandparents' house (they were in FL) for a few days, and just got home last night after having to get a new furnace.

I'll post a longer version with pics another time, but with all the stress and whatnot, I'm still feeling really beat and not up to sitting at the computer any longer. I can't wait to come back and see who else had babies while I was away!

Congrats! Our heater gave out a couple months prior to the birth and I was so thankful it didn't happen right around birth time- so sorry that happened to you!

applecore- congrats on welcoming baby twyla into the world! i love her name.

my ezra was 3 weeks early and only 5 lbs even at birth. then, she droped to 4 and a half pounds. but, i had her at home and we were able to exclusively breastfeed. i was worried about her, of course as any new mom would be. but i had great support and called on it! if you want to PM me about anything or just a listening ear, feel free!

enjoy your babymoon with her! and, trust yourself to give her everything she needs!

Wow, that is incredible. Kudos to you mama for being able to adapt so well. I'm not sure if I could have in your position. You are a strong person and I'm thirlled to hear about baby Twyla. Happy babymooning now that you are settled again .
