IUD and menstrual cup - anyone know?

Hi mommas, I've had an IUD since having my second and last child. I really like the convenience. I recently tried a menstrual cup, which was a great tampon-alternative, but then read the small print, which said IUD users shouldn't use them. Anyone have any further info/experience?
BTW, I think IUD is a great method if you think you might not want more kids. I know birth control is the last thing on your mind right after giving birth, but you need to think about it soon thereafter. With an IUD you have to get it inserted within a couple of months post-partum, or you have to wait until after you get your period again. That first year or so post-partum is the hardest time, cuz you don't get to have sex very often and who wants to be worrying about putting in the diaphragm, or where's the condoms?

I have a Mirena IUD and use the Keeper. I haven't had any problems...
I think the only possible problem would be if the string that sticks out of the cervix gets caught and pulled when you take out the cup. I asked my MW about this and she didn't think it would be a problem, and couldn't think of any other possible reasons that you shouldn't use them together. I've used the Keeper for years and was pretty glad to hear this!
