Any BEAD MANIACS in the house??

Hi crafty mamas, just wondering if there are any other "Bead Freaks" like me hanging around.

I adore making jewelry with glass, silver and gemstone beads. I also make (and sell) bead kits. I did a half dozen craft shows last year, selling my handmade jewelry. It was so much fun I'm going to do many more shows this year, if all goes well...

What are you other bead a holics doing? Do any of you do craft shows?

I am right there with you mama...I haven't been able to do much beading as of late... 2y/o makes it a bit tiresome as well as messy. Right before xmas I sorted thru some old jewelry from my Gram and took apart lots of stuff for the clasps. I used alot of the beads for making tree ornaments...it was all very experimental(lots of freeform w/ wire). I am waiting for the opportunity to make some stuff using those old clasps. The other thing I had some fun with was using wire & glass beads, sea glass, shells, & stones to make some cool mobiles. There just seems to be so much going on that finding beading time is too low on the list right now....someday though I will get back to it!
