Use a mason jar on your blender

I have been using a mason jar on my blender. Somehow it is easier to clean a jar than a blender -- plus I store the leftover smoothie, salad dressing or whatever right in the same jar.

Here is a demo:

How do you get the jar off without spilling the ingredients?

I don't think this works with every brand of blender. I use Mason jars lot with my Oster blender though. Very useful!

It works with mine! You should post this is frugality and finances - I know I think this is the best advice EVER.

Thanks

Waaaaa, it doesn't work with mine.
I was so excited, I ran to the kitchen! But no fit on my Braun model.

It may work with a different size mason jar. I have a Cuisenart blender and I use a more narrow opening mason jar (not wide mouth). I do NOT put the rubber seal on -- one time I did and it chopped it all up.

My Oster fits too, I love this, a lady I know taught me that when she was doing babyfood.

That is a super idea! I can't wait to see if it works on mine.
