i am currently preggo and this looks totally doable for me to make. Just wondering what you use to stuff them with? I was thinking of picking up some microfiber towels but what else will work? I would like them to be trim.

Microfiber towels would be best for trim. I know you can use prefolds and terry cloth.

I stuff mine with those thin birdseye gerber "prefolds" you find at Walmart or Target (not the ones with the poly inner). They are really trim and I can fold down the front for my ds. I also use infant PFs and microfiber towels.

They are super trim diapers, and so cheap and easy to make!

I make inserts from old t-shirts (about 10-12 layers total, but not all 10-12 sewn together in one insert!). I also used folded-up "flour sack" towels from WalMart - 2 folded together works for my toddler.

I don't like pocket diapers, but I lay a tri-folded prefold inside our RRP. I only made one for my DS because I couldn't get a good fit on him. I need that elastic in the back.

I Rita's Rump Pockets!!! I think the perfect insert is a Cotton Babies adjustable microfiber insert. It is supposed to be used with the BumGenius pockets, so it has snaps that allow it snap down from small-medium-large.
Perfect for folding the rise down in front on a RRP.
If you can sew at all they are so quick and easy to make.
