Please don't be sold on the Rush Limbaugh theory that this is the big drain on our economy and yada, yada, yada. 'Tis not so, there are studies that show they contribute FAR more than they take......................

.................not the least of which is affordable food on our table every night. I daresay our economy would COLLAPSE if all undocumented workers were sent home.

200 million every year? Where did that number come from?

And..........it wouldn't happen (even in much lesser numbrs) because there is not that much work here. They wouldn't come in droves if there was nothing for them to live on.

You listen to the news all the time, NM. You hear how concerned they always are with gas prices? Do you understand because it is such a HUGE commodity that spikes in price affect the economy very quickly and very negatively?

Now imagine what a huge commodity food is. ALL FOOD (processed food is processed from something real somewhere in it's history ) would be impacted if a) skilled workers became unavailable and b) ppl had to be paid a living wage.

The economy would collapse. It is right on the brink now.

Those articles go a long way to prove only how much we exploit the immigrant workers, NM. Proves they aren't here *stealing* jobs and getting wealthy................

And just to note the articles talked abt immigrants not illegal immigrants.
