Had my first UC on Sunday

Hi everyone,
I'm working on writing up my birth story, but here's the core:

I gave birth for the third time at home, in water at 6:16am on Sunday. I was 38 weeks. I had some pretty mild prodromal labor on Wed-Fri nights that dilated me to 4cms and 80% effaced (I do my own cervical checks). I woke up at 2:00 with more of those same mild contractions, which picked up pace quickly. I was by myself until 4am when I woke my Dh and then the birth pool was set up around 5am. My older two woke then. I asked for them to go to the neighbor's at 6:10am and that was what I needed to finish dilation from 8cm with a lip to complete. I had my second spontaneous ejection reflex in this birth - the baby just came out in about 30 seconds without my pushing at all. No tears, only slight swelling. I think this is because I activate my sexual response during labor using clitoral stimulation (didn't happen the first time when I didn't do it). She must have had a deflexed head because her nose was swollen and my tailbone hurt the first day. I was on my knees in the water when she came out, and I pulled her up out of the water and sat back in the pool. Dh got to catch the first two - it was my turn. She breathed on her own easily and immediately and I had very little bleeding. We never called the midwife, so it was just the two (three) of us. That was perfect for me because I'm a private person and birthing is very sexual and intense for me.

Everyone is doing well and my milk was in by 36 hours (I have been tandem nursing throughout the pregnancy). Not sure if the older two will continue nursing or not - they're not sure about the milk.

Thank you for the amazing support of this forum. Best to you all.

Sorry - missing name is Renee. She was 8lbs, 1oz at birth (well, a few hours later). Dh did wonderfully and I love him so much more for experiencing this with me. Our family and friends have all been very supportive and impressed so far, we told them the midwife didn't make it/we didn't feel the need to call her and then it was too later anyway. I'd like to write about the differences I felt between when I was laboring alone for the first two hours versus what happened after I woke up Dh - it was a pretty significant change and I wonder what it would have been like to be solo. This was my last though, so I'll just have to keep wondering!

I'd actually LOVE to hear how it changed once you woke him! :

Wonderful, congratulations!!!! I'm tandeming too, at least so far, during pregnancy too. I remember with dd2, when I was nursing dd1, how quickly my milk came in--I had SO much too.It was pretty neat.
