Anyone else trying to get ready? What are you making? What ideas do you have for me? DD is almost 15 months.

Any ideas?

I am going to make little felt bunnies. I drew the pattern of a very simple bunny (crouching, not standing or upright like a person) and now am trying to figure out what sort of neck/top of head I want it to have.

I am looking for ideas for non plastic eggs! Anyone?

I plan to look for little wooden eggs and paint them. I also want to get some organic wash cloths and make 'boo boo bunnies.' I'd love to make some green cotton play cloths and use that for grass in DS's easter basket.

I'm also knitting a little purple gnome. I'm nearly finished, but I need to find some organic cotton for stuffing (would JoAnns or Micheals have this?)

Subbing!

I too want to make boo boo bunnies. Do you happen to have a pattern, or know exactly how to twist of the washcloth? TIA.

Casey's Wood has some.Although the shipping makes the reasonable price not so reasonable BUT I bought way too many if you want some for actual shipping(couldn't be very much) instead of their flat rate.Just pm me if you're interested.

I knitted ds five little finger puppets (bunny, bear, cat, tiger, and elephant) out of scrap yarn. I sewed a pouch to keep the puppets in too.

Then I also knitted him a cool puzzle ball (like this one, http://pikkukettuknits.wordpress.com...1/puzzle-ball/, but knitted). I am working on this sweater (http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEfall02/PATThaiku.html) for him. And last, but not least, if I get the time I will knit some of these eggs too (http://littlecottonrabbits.typepad.c...ed-easter.html).

Thanks so much for posting those links! I'm curious where you found the pattern for the knit puzzle ball. It sounds like it would take a lot of finishing. I'd love to see your finger puppets and pouch.

I finished DS's little gnome last night and will post a pic when the camera battery charges up. I'm also planning on knitting a few eggs from the link you posted, ty!

rere, where are the products from Casey's wood made?

From what I could gather...in Maine.

From their website:

We are an independent Maine Wood Company in the heart of New England’s wood mills. With 27 years of experience, our close working relationship with these manufacturers results in some great deals, and we pass those savings on to you!

Ok but I've never made a doll so you'll have to be kind.

I got the pattern for the puzzle ball from this book (http://www.amazon.com/Babies-Toddler...4345967&sr=8-2).
It's really easy to make. You knit 12 pieces, stuff them, and then sew them together. I was able to make the entire thing in one weekend.

Here is a link to my blog, with a photo of my finished puzzle ball and three of the puppets.
