Update!
Ok, so I have a little bit more time to say something here. And I just have to say that I feel so blessed & thankful about this birth. I was induced with pitocin (no biggie), and labor was totally manageable. The part that always stinks is the last part when you're nearing the end and you feel the urge to push and you're waiting to hit full dilation & for the doctor. It doesn't take that long, but it FEELS like it does!
This timeline might blow you away. It did me!
7ish AM:
Checked in & was at 2cm.
11 AM:
Began to feel like I was nearing the end. The nurse checked me & I was at 4cm & 90% effaced. The "4" was a little discouraging, but I hoped the rest would go fast. ...and boy! did it!!
11:11 AM:
I was starting to feel pressure, so I asked the nurse to check me again. I was at 7 cm! Had her check me a few minutes later & I was at 8cm.
11:34 AM:
After about 5 minutes of pushing, I had a baby girl in my arms!
The pushing seemed really, really hard this time!
I had a hard time

pushing her out.... while i was trying to push her out, I kept thinking how hard it was & was wondering how badly I would tear. Before starting, I was expecting 1-2 stitches because that was how it ended up with my other three. .
...BUT!!! ...Much to my amazement... I didn't even tear!!!!

WOOOHOOOOO!!!!!
And no hemorrhoids! (How does THAT make sense!!)
Who knows!! But I am SOOO thankful & consider it a huge gift from Above!!
We named our little girl: Laila Grace.
Weight: 9 lbs 1 oz
Length: 20 inches
That's my story. Will try to post a pic later.
