Temps, CM, & low estrogen??

Hi,

I am looking for advice and tips. I have been having approx 2 periods a year for the last couple of yrs. (my "regular" cycle used to be once every 3 months....now it is more like 5-7months) I have not talked to a Reproductive Endo about this but have talked to my GP. I asked her to test my hormones and she said everything came back looking ok. (although i'm not 100% sure she tested) If nothing else during thsi time, I have paid very close attention to my CM. It seems to get thicker and more quantity, like my estrogen is going up to O, but then it comes back down, no MAJOR release of CM and starts the cycle all over. Based on reading Taking Charge of Your Fertility, I am thinking that I am not quite getting that boost estrogen needed to ovulate. I see lots of talk here about progesterone. On the rare occasion, I do ovulate, it does seem like I get 14-16 days after before AF comes. So, anyone got any advice for low estrogen, not progesterone??

Oh, also, I have hypothyroidism. I have been on synthroid for nearly 15yrs. Doc says my levels are normal but I have felt for a very long time that I still have symptoms...such as very low AM temps. (96-96.5)

This was long so I appreciate you reading it.
