I'm buying reward yarn.. what should I get? updated!

I had the root canal from hell today. I need to reward myself. for my last dentist visit I bought some nice silk regia sock yarn in a pale peach. it's on my to do list.

I was thinking either some malabrigo worsted or some noro.. actually, scratch that I think I'm buying noro anyway to make a baby surprise jacket.. but I want to make something for me.

maybe calorimetry? or should I get something nice and cotton from RYC because it's spring and will be hot soon?

I ended up getting 5 balls of RYC cashcotton DK in sage (my DH liked this yarn the last time we went to LYS!) this gives a better idea of the color

and I'm going to try my hand at my first lace shawl - fiber trends leaf lace shawl

and of course I had to buy new needles, because I didn't have a size 10 circular in 35" length.. so I got a crystal palace bamboo circular. DH is probably going to flip when he gets home and finds out how much I spent... but after the hell I went through at the dentist office I deserve something nice for myself.
