So . . . how far are you all dilated?

If you know, how far dilated are you? I was 1-2 cm last week and today I'm 3-4 and 50% effaced. My doc thinks we'll be welcoming our LO within a week. Yikes!

I'm excited, nervous, everything. Anyone else dilating and on pins and needles?!

On Monday I was 4cm, zero station with a bulging bag of waters. I CANNOT go into labor until Saturday night. NO LABOR VIBES FOR ME!!!

I was 1 cm and 50-80% last OB appointment. I keep trying to check myslef, but my cervix is still too posterior.

Yeah, and my butt hurts!

I can't tell but I'm VERY squishy and I think a little open (don't know how much), but I don't care. I'm pretty sure the little one will be here in another 2 weeks. We'll see.

Just had my 39 wk check today and I'm 1cm. I was super thrilled cause I've been having contractions like crazy and massive pelvic discomfort. Kinda feels all worth it!

2-2.5 cm at my 35 week check. My cervix is thinning, and we want the little man to hang out at least a couple more weeks, so I'm trying to take it easy!

Just got checked tonight. Around 1-2 dilated (hard for her to tell because baby's head is so low) 70% and very very soft.

I'm not. Not at all. My cervix is closed and hard. Babe is way up in my ribs.

My MW said, "She hasn't even thought about coming down into your pelvis yet has she?"

I'm 38wks 4 days.

I asked my Dr. to check me on Tuesday and she declined. I wish I knew how dilated I was or if my cervix was changing, just to give me a slight idea of when I might meet this baby!

Do you always begin conversations this way?

I don't imagine I'm dilated at all yet--at least I hope not, I'm only 36 weeks. But how would I know? I don't think my midwife's planning to do any internal exams until I'm in labour, and I wouldn't have a clue how to do one on myself. Is it important? Does it matter?

As of tuesday, not at all! I've been about 50% effaced for the last week and a half, but nothing else happening. I'm 39 weeks.
Which today is fine, as there's a snowstorm and I didn't put the car in the garage.

On Wed. I was 3 cm and about 50%. Midwife said she could feel the bag of waters. Not sure of station or anything.

I'm ready anytime....(although Sunday would be my ideal day, today it is a snowing (not a huge storm, but enough that I would *prefer* to wait), and Sunday just seems like a nice, holy, good day to be born on.

I'm not doing internal exams. I just don't see the point--they honestly don't tell you anything useful (loads of mamas walk around for weeks at 3cm and 50% effaced), and just increase the risk of infection, ROM, etc etc. I'm not planning to do any until (MAYBE) I feel like pushing...maybe not even then.

That said, boy--do I feel ready?! Seriously.

38 weeks+ 6 days

I am 3 cm! 80% effaced, head at +2 station.
I thought for sure I would have had this baby 3 weeks ago! The OB gave me the induction talk already. I am thinking, is this a due date, or an ULTIMATIUM...

Goodness! You've got over a week until your EDD, and three weeks until the baby is "overdue"! Don't let your OB push you around, mama! Like other moms have mentioned, you could walk around at 3cm for a while, or your baby could be here tomorrow. Nature will take it's course....
