Four Hours of Nursing - this can't be right - Page 2

Ditto to what they all said! I just wanted to pipe in. The nursing also relieves pressure if they have any in their ears and makes their throat feel better too! You're doing great! Nursing can be so tough, but it is worth it. I'm so glad for this site, I wish I had it when I was nursing my two! My daughter nursed constantly for what at the time seemed like FOREVER! Part of it is too they really like being with you and looking at you and that skin to skin is super comforting for them too. They're quick learners

Great job mama!

I totally agree with foogoomomma. Whenever my dd was sick, she would nurse and nurse and nurse for hours as it would help with pressure in her ears and relieve any sore throat pain.

It's so hard but it will get better!

Rosemary daily goes through a session of cluster feeding - where she nurses more-or-less continuously for 2-4 hours. Usually, however, this is followed by 6 hours of sleep. Doc's said it's not at all uncommon for newborns to cluster-feed like this...Hope you all start feeling better and SOON.
