Skin care for women in their 30s~

I am noticing my skin is not what it used to be when I was in my 20s- I used to be able to just wash with water and put on light moisturizer.
My skin just isn't as supple or radiant as it used to be, so I am wondering what I need to be doing differently, what does my skin need?
What is your skin care regime?

Skin our age needs some exfoliating. I use Baking soda for that. Not everyday, but several times a week. That will bring some radiance back. You definitely need a moisturizer, but it sounds like you already use one. I use jojoba oil. It makes me feel dewy & I love it.

Now I hadn't thought of exfoliating. I will try baking soda. Is there anything baking soda can't do?
I am using California Baby super sensitive lotion on my face- I wonder if I need something more. I might try jojoba oil too.
I saw a thread way back about using green tea on your face- I am wondering about that because I know it is full of antioxidants. Anyone know? Would I just use green tea like an astringent?

i started using just plain honey on my face for a cleanser.....

i have the ((( ))) along the sides of my mouth,,,,and the honey has reduced them to almost unnoticable. and the lines on my forehead have been reduced, as well.

and not that i really should, but i use an msm cream on my face.

ill be 43 in a few months....my skin hasn;t looked this good in 10-15 years

most of the time i use coconut oil to wash my face and take off my makeup. i just spread it all over my face and then wipe it off with a washcloth. once a week or so i exfoliate with honey and baking soda and then follow up with coconut oil.

I use sea salt mixed with a little olive oil to exfoliate and it really makes my skin feel good. I wash and follow up with moisturizer. I'm 34 and I have noticed how much my skin has changed from my 20's also.

I use Mary Kay's Microdermabrasion kit, and also their timewise age fighting cleanser and moisturizer. It's awesome. I also like thier loofah body scrub. Sometimes I I use a salt scrub from the Dead Sea.

I also love Mary Kay's Satin Hands, (no, I don't sell Mary Kay!) but can't afford it. I use a mix of sugar and olive oil for a scrub, and then whatever hand cream I have on hand. That works great, as well.

How do you use the jojoba as a moisturizer? Would you recommend it for super sensitive skin?

I turned 30 last October. I was using honey to wash my face and really liked it, but our family made the transition from vegetarian to vegan, so we don't use it anymore.

I've been just using water and every third day or so a pinch of baking soda to exfoliate. It's working well.

I don't use a moisturizer and rarely have. Whenever I did, I would break out. I don't have dry skin. My cheeks are normal and my t-zone is normal but ever so slightly more oily. Should I still use a moisturizer? I have a small bottle of jojoba oil. Will it cause me to break out? How much would I use? I assume I would only want it on my cheeks?

I'm 5 months PP and my skin is still discolored from melasma during pregnancy. What would you ladies recommend that I use?

I also use honey for daily cleansing and baking soda once a week or so to exfoliate. I'm 35 (today!) and my skin looks better than it did when I was in my 20's!

I just put about 1 drop , sometimes 2 at night in the palm of my hand & gently rub it in all over my face & neck. A little goes a long way. it looks kind of greasy at first, but soaks in really well. I wait about 10-15 mintues before putting on my mineral makeup.

I exfoliate two or three times a week in the winter. I usually make a paste from sugar and either banana or avacado. Sometimes I make a salt glow with essential oils for my body.
