shoot 'em up

has anyone seen this movie?

admittedly, it's completely violent, ridiculous and misogynistic.

BUT it does portray breastfeeding as the norm! Guy looking for food for a baby seeks a lactating women rather than looking for formula. Granted, they also give baby food to the baby (who's a few days old), but I loved that they portrayed that being breastfed was the ONLY option.

If you saw it, what did you think?

I liked that aspect as well. I'm glad the guy put in the effort to find a wet nurse. But I"m sorry she lost her baby.

I thought it was so funny. Check out my summary in the Media section.

Honestly, that was one of the most bizarre movies I've seen in a looong time.

it was highly entertaining because it was so ridiculous, but i think, if nothing else, i liked it because of its obvious support of breastfeeding

This movie evoked such bizarre emotions from me. Yes, I was so happy about the breastfeeding, but I spent the whole movie being worried about where the baby was. Like, they seemed to forget about the baby when they were involved in certain other activities. I liked the "babywearing", too, where he carried the baby in the backpack

this movie cracked me up.

babywearing, breastfeeding, gentle discipline (the museam scene), and 'non-disposable' diapering!

I just watched that movie this morning, and I thought it was great. Even the bad guy KNEW he could find him by questioning any lactating women he may have talked to.

DP was laughing at me, I kept yelling at the screen about the poor baby.
