moving mamas...check in

so since some of us were crazy enough to move either before or right after their babies came, how are we doing?

here, we have finally moved to GA and things are out of the truck and either in out apt, or in my inlaws house. but omg has this move reaked havoc on my supply. I found myself not eating enough or drinking enough and not making enough milk. so now I am trying to make sure I am eating more often and not ignoring it.
We are so unorganized, we probably go to the store everyday b/c we have forgotten something. I swear ds has been in the car everyday since he was born .it is annoying, I just want to stay home all day, we will get there though.

I like our appt, even though it is too expensive, and dh is very happy to be home with his parents and his friends and that is what we were going for.

how are you mamas doing?

We moved from Hawaii to Tennessee, and about two weeks later, had a baby.

My car got here last week, much faster than we thought it would. My stuff won't get here for probably another month, but it's going into storage, so I don't really care. I wish I had packed less maternity clothes (that I wore for a couple of weeks and are now pretty much useless), and more regular clothes, but there's nothing I can do about it now.

Honestly, I'm just happy that I moved BEFORE having the baby. It was utterly exhausting at the time, but there's no way I could've done it with a baby too. (I am in awe of those of you who had the baby first!)

I, too, spent the first couple of weeks going to the store every day...I thought I would never get the fridge stocked! I still keep a running list of random things that I didn't realize that I needed.

Now, if the Hawaii post office could just get their act together, I'd be grand. I had to request mail forwarding twice (and did the first two weeks before I left), and have had to call out there more than once to have them check my mailbox for mail, because it isn't making it here. GRRR!

I haven't moved yet. We get possession of the house on March 14, but I still haven't had my baby. We haven't started really packing and ahhh.... Must have baby.
We're waiting on the final documents for the mortgage and we've been careful to not mess with our credit scores, but we still have to buy a fridge, washer and drier and other sundry things for the house.
Hopefully my dad is going to come here to help move and paint the house before we move in.
It's hard to get excited about moving and getting a new house and getting it all set up when I have another huge life changing thing that is going to happen first. I feel that by April I will need to go into a coma... but I do'nt think I'll be able to!

We got moved into our new place about 10 days ago. DP was so great. It was really just the 2 of us and he did all the lifting and most of the organizing too. He is really amazing cuz if you came in our front door right now, you wouldn't see a single box and we have pictures on the walls and everything is organized quite well. I helped too, but I know that I am lucky.

Hope everyone else is happy in their new homes. I am, this place is much nicer and now we have a tub, instead of just a shower.
