Beautiful little man born yesterday at 4:12 P.M. in to my hands. I can't post my birth story yet, as I am still working through it. I will say that it was the longest hardest labor of my life.
My MW were wonderful and patient and encouraging, I was impatient, frustrated and discouraged.
Well his breathing reps were up to 100, they went down when he cried, and he latched on so nicely, he's quite the little sucker! But we decided that since he couldn't keep his reps down that we should bring him here. He is so beautiful, he looks like his brother and sisters. So anyway, he has meconium in his lungs. But he is stable. They think he might also have a heart murmur. It is killing me that I can't hold him right now, he's under an oxygen tent and they wont let me nurse because they are afraid he will aspirate. I hope we are out of here by tonight or tomorrow. I'll post more later. I am still a little flustered and overwhelmed.
