Hair wash

I have tryed washing my hair with bakingsoda and vinegar. The first two months this worked great, but the last two it has not worked at al.

I have tryed new bags of bakingsoda, clean cups, hot water, everything I could think of. But still my hair is fat and heavy and looks dirty. The bakingsoda doesnt change into soap.

I could really need some advice here, please. Should I try something else?

English is not my first language (as you probably have noticed), and Im not quite sure about all the ingrediens in the recepies Ive found on this forum.

How long are you leaving the BS in your hair? If its not cleaning right I would leave it in longer. And you only really need to scrub the scalp. The rest of your hair should get clean that way.
Wash with the BS and then rinse in the end with the apple cider vinegar.

For me, after a while, the apple cider vinegar builds up in my hair, making it look (and feel) dirty and oily. I find that every six months or so, I need to "strip" it. When that's the case, I'll use organic shampoo, and it does the trick really well. Then, all is well for another six months. Could it maybe be the acv rinse?

Not for long, should it stay after pouring it into the hair?

I pour a splash (maybe 2 tablespoons, at most?) into about 4 cups of water - so, not much. Also, I don't pour it onto the top of my head - just the ends of my hair - and I always make sure to rinse it out. I've heard people say they leave it in, but I can't imagine how sticky my hair would feel if I did that....

HTH!
