How much of Varney's did you read

I am doing the NARM PEP process and I am reading Varney's Midwifery. I have already read Ann Frye's books and Heart and Hands. Do I need to read Varney's cover to cover? Or are there certain chapters I should concentrate on?

I read cover to cover, but there are obviously chapters that apply to nursing management that would not be expected in the core competencies of a CPM. Refer to your "List of Written Test Specifications" in the Candidate Information Bulletin and compare to the table of contents.
