thanks so much, mamas!

i am so glad that she ended up being born so gently at home after all that pushing and head pressure she was giving me. it just amazes me how awesome homebirths can be with the kind of support i had. and, then she was just so fine being born sunny side up like that...no problems at all. she's nursing well and sleeping so much. which means, we are sleeping well, too and that is feeling fabulous!

we're still trying to decide on her name. any suggestions on how to chose between rosa (rosemercy) and buxy (buxton)? seriously, we call her both throughout the day!

Rosabux? Buxyrose?

Acutally, Buxton Rose is a pretty name, IMO. Or Rosemercy Buxton.

I actually quite like Buxton Rose too! I think the name Buxton is actually very sweet.

Congradulations! I also had dreams about my baby and she came exactly as she was in my dreams. I also knew she was a girl from the very begining. It is odd to see my baby girl of my dreams really here, on my chest sleeping as I type this!

and, our girls have the same birthday! yay!

thanks for the name tips. we still just call her rosa or buxy throughout the day. we're leaning toward rosemercy buxton as her name though. my hubby goes by his middle name, a nickname of his middle name at that. lots of people do these things, right? and, nicknames can have nothing to do with a person's given name, right? these two names are the ones that are meaningful to us and one may just stick later.

well, I am so glad you are sleeping nicely!! Looking forward to my call so I can get some Paneras for myself when I bring yours

Without knowing any other names that are meaningful to you, I do like Rosemercy Buxton a lot, with Rosa and Buxy as nicknames.
