So my husband is a touring musician and goes out of town for a couple weeks at a time.He has been doing this for many years but stopped before our daughter was born and didn't start going out again until this last fall.So our lifestyle is not one that my daughter has known since birth. To help her understand when he will be coming back I've been coming up with some sort of counting project for her and her dad to get together before he goes. The first one was a paper chain. One link for each day he would be gone.Everyday she took a link off and glued it to a paper to make a piece of art for her dad.The last time he went they painted beads and we strung them so she would have a necklace when he got back.Once we did a bowl of chocolate kisses.
It's nice to have a different project every time he goes.Something fun to look forward to.So...Any ideas for this sort of project?

(chocolate kisses sound much nicer!)
Well,I guess it sucks to be my husband because he comes home to a messy house and a list of projects to do.
