Soaker help

I think I may have made this harder on myself than need be.

I started out using the picky pants pattern. I just finished my last set of shorts rows. I'd like to make it a soaker and was just going to follow the directions on the CP soaker since I know that one. The stitch counts aren't the same though and neither are short row placements.

So if I am making a small picky pant soaker where do I bind off to split the front and back? I have a very specific idea in mind so I'd like this to work if possible! I suppose I could just continue on with the PP pattern and make them hot pants/boy cut style underware type soaker but I'd like to avoid that if possible.

Anyone? DD2 is asleep so I have actual knitting time available......

I suppose I could just wing it...I mean the stitch count is really only a factor now for my decreases...I just need to do less. I think.
