6 lbs. 15 ounces. 21 inches long! Anisa Ismail came Saturday!

I went Friday to get the sonogram. DH took me, they checked everything out, her fluid level was ok and we went home. As soon as we got home, I went to the bathroom and my water broke there! DH had just dropped me off and left to go close the store, so I had to cal him to come pick me back up and take me back to the hospital!

I got there at 7:30 p.m. Friday night and I was 5 centimeters dialted. Well I was in pain all night, walking around, sitting on the birthing ball and having contractions 5 minutes apart all night. Then DH left to go open the store and come right back. Well, my contractions started to get farther apart instead of closer. So they decided to give me the pictocin at 10 a.m. to make the contractions stronger and to help me dialate more. Not even 5 minutes after they gave me the pictocin, the contractions started to come 1 minute apart and they HURT! So they gave me a muscle relaxer and at about 11:45 I was ready to push. I don't really remember anything except my mom there and DH there holding my legs and the doctor almost didn't make it on time. The nurse was teling me to stop pushing because the doctor didn't even have time to put his gloves.

I pushed a couple more times and the doctor said reach down and take your baby! Her head and shoulders were out and I pulled her the rest of the way on my stomach. It was amazing to see her for the first time! She was more than what I imagined! I completly forgot the labor after that. It was really worth it!

I was up out of the bed 15 minutes and 3 stiches later, in the shower and then I just passed out, lol. When I woke up O felt like I had gotten hit by a car, but I was so happy because there was my baby girl beside me!

Now we are home, She is so good such a sweet baby. She ad a bit of trouble learning to latch on, but now is nursing like a pro!

Happy Birthday mama and Anisa, it's always a good story that starts out going to the hospital to get checked and then labor starting on it's own!
