I love this yarn (even thought my dd wont wear it). A pair of ds longies got mixed in with the diaper laundry...went through a hot wash, 2 warm rinses, and the dryer. They are ok, they still fit

She might wear it now! Should be soft enough. My 2 yr old went through the same thing. The wool she wore last year I cannot get her to wear this year. She'll wear BFL, but, even that is hit or miss. She made me take them off of her this weekend.

I just received my first skein of Peace Fleece from my buddy in the MBOY Valentines Day Yarn Swap. It's a gorgeous burgundy color. I can't wait to knit with it...not sure what I'm going to do with it though. It's one skein.

Isn't PF too scratchy for longies? Too mohairy maybe?
I have a lonely skein of it and it would be beautiful as longies. Would it be enough for a pair size S/M?

No; we had a pair last year and I loved them. I bought them before I started knitting in earnest and before I'd heard the debates about its scratchiness. It blooms wonderfully and just continues to soften. Plus, it's bullet proof. They were our go to night time solution for quite a while. Dd happily wore them all last fall/winter (from about 11 -15 mos).

PF is my husband's friend. He has felted many soakers- They just slip into the wash he says. PF are the only ones that still work super great after several (did I say several?) washings.
