Would this work for a soaker?

I've never made a soaker but I'm expecting in July and thinking about trying this. They also have a bamboo blend. I know there are bamboo diapers now (I have 5yds of bamboo velour waiting for me downstairs!) so I'm thinking that might not work for a soaker but I'd love to hear your opinions on the regular stuff and the bamboo blend.

Not sure about the bison but I would think if it's not too scratchy, it would function like wool sort of. Bamboo would not work as a soaker but you could knit actual diapers from it.

the website specifically says "lanolin free", which would make me think no. You could always try lanolinizing it and see if it works, though... but for the price, I'd buy 15 skeins of Paton's merino instead.
