I've got a "meet the midwife" appointment tomorrow- 4w3d- fingers majorly crossed that we mesh well! There are only four midwives in my city and the two that I used last time aren't a good fit for me.

My appointment has been cancelled- the midwife is sick I was hoping to beg a prescription for relief from the UTI from hell!

I have an appointment on friday to meet an OB in town to see if he'll do a vba2c and to get a confirmation of pregnancy. I have another appointment on March 12th to interview a different OB about vba2c.

ETA: why do people get bloodwork to check betas and progesterone levels? Just curious.

Don't be shy I am getting b/w done because I had a m/c 6 weeks ago and my OB said he'd check for me for peace of mind . I also need to know if the NPC I am on is doing enough to increase my progesterone levels or if I need suppositories, instead...

Ooh, how cool would it be to find an OB willing to do a vba2c?!

They get their levels checked if there's a history of miscarriage, or low progesterone, or just because... I have low progesterone, and have had 3 losses, so the second I get a BFP I call the dr to get my levels checked.

Ok, now. My first "real" appointment is March 11, with the RE. I'll be getting an ultrasound at that appt. 6w 1d

Yes, same as the others - they are sending me for bloodwork because I had a m/c. One of my symptoms with the m/c (aside from the obvious) was low progesterone.

I haven't decided if I will go with my FP doc who I like or try one of the midwives.

I couldn't wait to so I went in yesterday for the bloodwork and I have to go back tomorrow. So my next is Feb 28 bloodwork.

I've got two "interview the midwives" appointments- next Tuesday and next Thursday. Fingers crossed!

well i wish i had appointments to report. I am starting the process of interviewing midwives for a home birth, left messages with 2 and haven't received calls back. the third was busy when i called, then i spaced out calling her back. hopefully i will have some appt next week

yay we have 1 of 3 mw interviews scheduled. Saturday mar 1, she was very pleasant on the phone, so i am excited to meet her.
