Had my first interview yesterday. I think it went well. I liked the midwives and will try to reserve judgment on the other one until I meet her on Friday.

Didn't hear a hb, but the mw picked it up on the doppler (it just wouldn't come through the speakers). 150 bpm. Yay! The definite highlight of my week.

I decided on the midwives in Charlottesville and my first real appointment is on Thursday. It was really hard giving the "rejection" call to the other mw. I liked her a lot, but the ones I'm going with are closer, cheaper, and more available (though they have less experience).

We heard the heartbeat this morning! 140. I'll be 14 weeks tomorrow. Next appointment June 25 - almost 18 weeks.

appt. went pretty well, next appt. 6-12-08 to see a preg. physical therapist, and then 6-19-08 for the 20 week u/s

Spent 3 hours with my midwife! We just chatted away and before I knew it 3 hours had gone by. HB was 144.

Next appt is June 27th

Had a really good midwife appt today but I'm still measuring "big"
Have an ultrasound scheduled for June 19 to check on age/number/anatomy. (18 weeks)

Regular midwife appt scheduled for July 2, 20 weeks.

How'd the appt go?



Had another appt today myself. Everything is measuring right on target. Heartbeat at 144. Midwife is supposed to get my u/s appt set up. She'll call me when she gets through.

My u/s was scheduled today. It's this thursday July 3rd.

I have an U/S scheduled for the 14th and my next appointment for the 28th (Ill be 24 weeks)

The 20 week u/s went well. Cervix is a little short. I have an appt. tomorrow.

We had a consult with one fetal specialist today, we have another tomorrow at 12:30. We also have another ultrasound at 8am on the 21st of July and a check up with the midwives on the 29th at 9:20 am. Whew. I'm going to keep this list long, lol.
