Snap press

For those of you who have bought a snap press- do you regret it?
I really want one, but I'm worried about plunking down that much $$ on something for making diapers.

It was worth every penny. I ended up hating Aplix, the diapers I first made before I got my snap press looked nasty very quickly because of the Aplix catching, even with laundry tabs. I just strongly prefer the nice clean look of snaps, and the easier laundry. I also moved into making some of DS's clothing, so I use the snaps a lot for that, and I've also made mama pads, added a snap to an apron that didn't fit right, and use it when I make wallets.

I really think it's worth it, and wish I had gotten it when I first started making diapers. Besides, they have a really high resale value, so if you don't end up using it much you can sell it for almost what you paid for it!

I use mine all the time for diapers and also for non-diaper items. I don't regret the purchase at all.

I haven't regretted the purchase, but I don't use it very much. We're totally a hook & loop family I use the press more for bibs and kids clothes than I do for diapers. I made an entire stash of snap diapers when I first got it. Turns out dh hates snap diapers. He can never remember which snap setting goes on which kid and often got them on too loose or too tight (ouch).
